Autumn...the year's last, loveliest smile

Kirpakkaa syksyä kaikille! Mun oli pakko vielä päästä postailemaan muutama syyskuva ennen kun suostun hyväksymään, et se alkaa olla jo pikku hiljaa ohi. Tosin odotan innolla jo talveakin ja erityisesti joulua (ALLE 2 KK!!!). XD Meillä alkaa taas se vuoden inhottavin vaihe kun kaikki nettitilaukset menee suoraan kaappiin piiloon odottamaan joulua, eli en pääse nyt ennen sitä enää avaamaan uusia figupaketteja... O___O" Paitsi yhen ehkä halloweenina. Huhuhu! ;D Anyhow, tässä nyt pari ylimuokattua syyskuvaa Momokosta sekä viime Japanin reissulta ostetusta Yagyuu-figuurista.

Hello everyone! I had to post these few autumn-ish pictures before I can admit that the autumn is almost over (at least here in Finland). Although I'm eagerly waiting for winter too, and especially christmas (LESS THAN 2 MONTHS NOW!!). XD But considering my figure hobby this is the crappiest time of the year, since starting next month I have to put aside all my incoming figures and wait for christmas to open them... O___O" (We want to have many presents under the christmas tree so that's why... XD) Well, I might be getting one figure on halloween at least... Huhuhu! ;D Anyhow, here's some over-processed pics of Momoko and a Yagyuu-figure which I bought from my last Japan trip.

Nippon 2014 Part V: Godzilla vs. Tokyo Tower!

Päätettiin matkan lopuks vielä käydä vilkasemassa Tokyo Tower koska ei pariin vuoteen oltu siellä käyty. Suunnattiin aamusella ensin Roppongiin missä oli joku kesätapahtuma meneillään. Roppongi Hills oli myös täynnä söpöjä Doraemon-patsaita joita ihmiset kuvas ja poseeras niiden kanssa ihan hulluna! Se oli hupaisaa kateltavaa! :D Oltais haluttu mennä käymään Pokémon-kahvilassa, mut sinne olis ollu monen tunnin jonot, joten päätettiin jättää se välistä. Buu! (T__T) Sen sijaan mentiin jonnekin omituiseen pikkuakvaarioon (miten aquarium taittuu suomeks?! Sea Life? XD) minkä ideana oli yhdistää fisut ja muut merenelävät sekä taide. Ja olihan se ihan söpö paikka!

At end of our trip we decided to visit the Tokyo Tower again since we haven't been there for a long time. In the morning we headed to Roppongi and there was some sort of summer festival going on. Roppongi Hills was full of cute Doraemon-statues and everyone was posing and taking photos with them. It was funny to watch! :D We tried to get into the Pokémon cafe but unfortunately there was a few hours waiting time so we had to skip that. Booo! (T__T) But instead we went to some small and weird "artsy" aquarium which was pretty cute.

Akvaarion jälkeen lähettiin suunnistamaan kohti Tokyo Midtown-aluetta jossa lymyili kukas muukaan kuin 6,6-metrinen Godzilla! Japaniin julkasiin vähän myöhemmin se uusin Godzilla-leffa ja sen kunniaks ja mainostamikseks oli pystytetty sitten tollanen pikkuruinen Godzillan puolikas keskelle puistoa. Mutta ennen patsaalle pääsyä törmättiin saatumalta erääseen pikkuiseen pelilafkaan....

After the aquarium we continued our little voyage towards the Tokyo Midtown-area where the 6,6 meters high Godzilla-statue was skulking! The newest Godzilla movie was released a bit later in Japan than rest of the world and the statue was build to promote the film. But on our way to the Godzilla statue, we came across this small gaming company you might've heard of....

 Nimittäin Konami-studioon!! Pate meinas haljeta onnesta ja jäätiinkin pörräämään talon edustalle ihan vaan siltä varalta jos Hideo Kojima, eli Konamin perustaja ja kaikkien Metal Gear-pelien tekijä, sattuis käymään vaikka kaupassa tai kiskalla tai muuten vaan haukkaamassa happea.... XD Näin ei kuitenkaan ikävä kyllä tapahtunu ja Pate joutu jättämään Konami-studiolle kaihoisat hyvästit matkan jatkuessa eteenpäin.

More specifically the Konami studio!! Pat was about to burst from happiness and we hanged out there like almost an hour just in case if Hideo Kojima (the founder of the Konami studio and father to whole Metal Gear-series) decides to go to the store/kiosk or just get some fresh air... XD Unfortunately we didn't get to see him and Pat had to bid his farewall to Konami-studios.

Operation Cicada rescue!!

 Viimein perillä!! Ja olihan se aika mahtipontinen näky! ♥ Ite oon ihan hulluna tohon uusimpaan Godzillaan ja hyvin oli patsas toteutettu. Harmittaa vaan kun ei päästy näkemään patsasta illalla valaistuna, mut parempi päivällä kun ei ollenkaan! Happyyy ~ !!

Finally, there it is!! And it was amazing! ♥ I absolutely love the newest Godzilla and the statue looked like straight from the movie! I'm a bit dissappoined that we couldn't see it in the evening with all the illuminations but this is better than nothing! So I'm really happy!

Godzillan jälkeen päätettiin idiootteina kävellä Tokyo Towerille ja matkan varrella törmättiin tosi suloseen puistoon jonne piti jäädä hetkeks viilentymään. Nähtiin pariskunta harjottelemassa animen tai näytelmän tai jonkun sellasen vuorosanoja ja se oli ihanaa kuunneltavaa! Ne näytteli niin tosissaan eikä välittäny yhtään ympärillä olevista ihmisistä, ihailtavaa tollanen! ♥ Anyways... eipä aikaakaan kun eksyttiin lopulta jonnekin Roppongiin ja päädyttiin ottamaan lähin metro Tokyo Towerille. Eli se siitä kävelystä... XD

As a couple of idiots we are, after the Godzilla we decided to walk to the Tokyo Tower and came across with a really cute park. We saw a young couple practising lines for some anime or play or something like that and it sounded so lovely! They took the acting so seriously and didn't give a damn about other people in there. It was admirable! ♥ Anyways... not long after that, we got lost somewhere in the Roppongi and ended up taking the nearest subway to Tokyo Tower. So much for walking... XD

Oltiin tällä kertaa vaan 150 metrin korkeudessa ja ilta-aurinkoinen Tokio oli mieletön näky! Taustalta puuttuis enään vaan Godzilla riehumassa pitkin kaupunkia! Haha! No ei nyt sentään! Tokio on täydellinen just sellasena kun se on! ♥

This time we only stayed at 150 meters and the evening sun looked unbelievable over the Tokyo! It would be a perfect landscape if Godzilla would be there havocing the city! Haha! No, just kidding! Tokyo is perfect just the way it is! ♥

Tokio Toweriin on hyvä lopettaa tän kertanen matkakertomus. Teen vielä jossain vaiheessa myöhemmin nukkekaupoista ja ostoksista oman postauksensa mutta sille olkoon oma aikansa. Meillä on jo seuraava reissu suunnitteilla ens vuodeksi ja sillon pitäis lähteä taas pari kaveria meijän mukaan, joten toivottavasti saadaan rahat kasaan! :D Alan myös pikku hiljaa järjestämään sitä giveawayta joten pysykäähän kuulolla! ^3^)/ ~♥

Tokyo Tower is the best way to end this travelogue. I'm going to write about doll shops and my shopping haul later when I get them done first. We have already planned a new trip to Japan next year and this time couple of our friends will join us so hopefully we get to save up the munnies in time! :D I'll also start to prepare the giveaway soon so stay tuned! ^3^)/ ~♥

Nippon 2014 Part IV: Monster Hunters in Eorzea (pic heavy)

Sopivasti viime reissun aikana Tokiossa oli myös meneillään meijän lempipelin, Monster Hunterin, 10th anniversary ja sitä varten oli tehty ihan oma näyttely Shibuyaan! Sinnehän oli siis mentävä hinnalla millä hyvänsä. Valitettavasti näyttelyssä ei saanu kuvata kun tietyillä aluella, mutta niinhän se taitaa olla melkeinpä kaikissa näyttelyissä joten ymmärtäähän sen. Itse näyttely oli paljon isompi mitä osasin odottaakaan ja kokonaisuudessaan tosi laaja! Harvoin sitä muutenkaan näkee mitään kunnon näyttelyä joka on omistettu ainoastaan yhelle pelisarjalle ja kyseisen sarjan kovina faneina toi oli meille tosi iso juttu vaikkei ihan kaikkea ymmärrettykään kielimuurin takia. :D

Conveniently during our trip to Tokyo, our favourite game series, Monster Hunter, celebrated it's 10th anniversary and there was an exhibition held for it in Shibuya! That was a must-see for us, no matter the cost! Unfortunately photography was not allowed except for few areas but I guess that's how it goes in most of the exhibitions nowadays. The exhibition was much bigger than I had expected and all in all it was a really comprehensive experience. You rarely see an exhibition of that scale devoted to one game only, and as a huge Monster Hunter fans, this exhibition was really a big thing for us despite the language barrier. :D

Näyttelyn jälkeen oli pieni kahvila mistä sai vielä ostaa Monster Hunter ruokia. Otettiin vaan yks hodari ja pelistä tuttu potion-juoma (joka olikin vaan tavallista Spriteä tai 7up:ia) koska ei oltu kauheen nälissämme. En oo vieläkään ihan varma, että saiko sitä potion-juomakuppia ottaa mukaan vai olisko se pitäny palauttaa muiden astioiden mukana muttaaah.... otettiin omamme mukaan. Fuck the police! XDD

After the exhibition there was a small café where you could get your Monster Hunter meal. We only bought one hot dog and a potion drink (which ended up being just normal Sprite or 7up) since we weren't that hungry. I'm still not sure if it was allowed to take the potion bottle with us or should we have returned it but we ended up takin the bottle with us.... Fuck the police! XDD

Museon jälkeen oli aika ottaakin nokka kohti Akihabaraa, koska oltiin tehty aiemmin pöytävaraus Final Fantasy XIV-kahvila Eorzeaan. Nimensä mukaisesti kahvila/ravintola on FF14-teemaravintola, joka on toteutettu pelissä esiintyvän Carline Canopy-rakennuksen mukaan. Pöytävaraus täyty tosissaan tehdä etukäteen, koska itse kahvila on melkosen pieni ja asiakkaita mahtuu kerrallaan sisään ehkä n. 25. Ravintolassa oli myöskin kahden (tai kahen ja puolen? ei voi muistaa XD) tunnin aikaraja per ryhmä, jonka jälkeen paikka siivotaan ja otetaan uudet asiakkaat sisään. Kaksi tuntia oli kuitenkin enemmän kun tarpeeks mahan täyttämiseen!

After the exhibition it was time to go back to Akihabara because we had made a reservation at Final Fantasy XIV Cafë Eorzea. Eorzea cafe/restaurant is modelled after the in-game location called Carline Canopy. The reservation had to be made beforehand because the place is relatively small and there's place for about 25 people. You can stay there for two hours (or two and a half? can't remember XD) at max and after that they clean the place and welcomes new customers. Two hours were more than enough to fill our bellies though!

 Kahvila oli todella kotoisa ja tunnelmakin oli ihan loistava! Työntekijät oli erittäin mukavia ja ruoka kaikessa omituisuudessaan oli tosi herkullista!! Juomapuoli olikin sitten vähän toinen tarina... Kaikki juomat näytti todella herkulliselta mut jotkut niistä oli vaan liian omituisia mun nirsoon makuun! XD Nautin kuitenkin kokonaisuudessaan koko illallisesta ja aiotaan todellakin mennä uudestaan sinne seuraavalla reissulla jos mahollista!

The café was really cozy and the atmoshpere in there was incredible! All the staff members were super nice and the food was all in its weirdness really delicious!! The drinks on the other hand weren't as good as they looked and some of them were just too weird for my picky taste! XD But I enjoyed dining in there and definetly will go again on our next trip if possible!

Ja kyllä... Se on suolaa, tossa sinisen lasin reunassa. Myöskin jokasen tilauksen mukana sai hienon lasinalusen jossa oli erilaisia FF-taidekuvia. Kukaan ei niitä kuitenkaan käyttäny lasinalusena ja mekin sujautettiin heti omamme laukkuun talteen sitä mukaa kun niitä saatiin. :D

And yes, that is salt on the edge of the blue glass. Also as a cool bonus, with each food 
or drink ordered, you get a coaster featuring awesome FF-artwork. No one actually used them as a coasters and everytime we got a new one, we just quickly put it in my bag to safety. :D

Super söpöjä moogleja!! Kahvilassa saa kulkea ja valokuvata vapaasti ja esillä on myös muutamia pelin aseita. Keskellä kahvilaa on pitkula pöytä täynnä tietokoneita joissa voi pelata FFXIV:Realm Reborn:ia kun on maha täynnä! Oikeesti vitsi miten makeeta!! Suosittelen kaikille faneille ja ei-faneille käymään Eorzeassa jos Tokion reissu on tähtäimessä. On sen arvosta, lupaan! ^w^

Super cute moogles!! You can roam around the cafe and take photos freely and there's also few weapons from the game on display too. In the middle of the cafe is a counter full of computers where you can play FFXIV:Realm Reborn when you're finished eating! How cool is that?! I recommend from the bottom of my heart to visit Eorzea if you're going to Tokyo! Even if you're not fan of the game it's going to be worth your time, I promise! ^w^
